Well there was a known case roughly 10 years ago when a young woman was going to take a case to court but then suddenly changed her mind apparently to do with the fact that she didn't want the media attention that would come with such a high profile trial.


In regards to the Lovett situation, didn't St Kilda say at the time that There had already been other indescretions in his short time at the club and that the rape allegations were just the final straw?

Goes into the Lovett situation in the book the head trainer wrote on St K's 2010 Season (The Bubble). Basically wasn't following club disciplines, turned up very out of shape, well behind the pack on pre-season runs etc.

No doubt they would have stuck with him, but I guess the allegation gave them an excuse to clip him.

Could have been a very, very handy player for us.
