Geelong v Hawthorn would be a great game first week of the finals.

Someone hasn't been paying attention. Geelong haven't beaten the Hawks by more than twenty points for..............cripes can't even remember. And we haven't beaten them in a final since 1963!

In other words they trouble us every time.

Correct REB but the hawks would need to be at full strength. The current hawks side would get flogged by the top 2 at the moment as we witnessed last week. They looked very average against a rubbish lions side on weekend.

Bye has come at a great time. A stronger line up should roll up in 2 weeks, would be nice to get a couple back in the midfield and Cyril up forward.

Collingwood and Geelong clearly ahead at moment, but you gotta get there first then deal with the teams on the day. Dont think we had the cattle to trouble the pies 2 weeks ago and the coaching gave nothing away against them I didnt think. Mind you I dont think the pies had their foot on the throttle either, yesterday against the roos they were definitely more switched on.

Great to see Puopolo finding his feet and playing good footy. He has gone from a filthy redleg to one of my faves!
