Yes, don't get me wrong. He's no goodie-two-shoes, he's a very talented administrator who did well in the brewing industry and will continue to do so. I just feel, rightly or wrongly, that in the world of AFL football, you really need to be ruthless, to the point of being dishonest, and I don't think Hays is that style of person.

just reading this thread from top to bottom and reconciling that with what has been in the media for three or four weeks I'm convinced Demetriou told Port if they wanted the multi-million-dollar payout Haysman would have to go.

My boss didnt take up membership with Port because of him. The club has gone downhill since Cunningham left and he thought employing a Crows supporter as the CE was a bad idea. Have it on good authority he drove out the Williams'

Thats the problem right there, the club cant handle a non Port person, shouldnt matter if you support Iraq if your a good CEO.

I always thought he spoke well and reckon Duncanson is the dud.
