I went to KI in about 1978. Went there in a Mini, with a tent arrangement on top and camped near the Ranger Station in Flinders Chase. Our small dog was allowed in and I've got a photo of the dog and a kangaroo nose to nose when the 'roo decided to look inside our tent. There were kangaroos everywhere in that part of the Chase then.

We also camped in a paddock at Vivonne Bay and at night there must have been 50 or more wallabies grazing around the tent.

I still have an original duffel coat - been hanging in my wardrobe for about 25 years now...lol.

It's a 'kids' one (for about a 12 year old) - but my kids wouldn't have a bar of it - even though I tried to get them to wear it - told them the history of the duffel coat and the football numbers etc - but NOPE - not interested

So basically no one has worn it, it's practically brand new...lol.
But I just can't part with it.

No numbers on this one though..lol
