*whoosh*

Brogan has carried the can for years. Port would've been in even deeper poo if it weren't for him.

Only person to win a championship in two Australian national competitions in completely different sports. That's pretty damned impressive.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him. Reckon he could handle himself very well with the dukes. I still have a giggle when he dropped that bloke at the airport and then he goes and clocks a bloke walking his dog
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I feel like crap obviously.

Dean Brogan footballer accused of assault
It began with me being verbally abused. The abuse was personal and aggressive. At first I ignored it. It continued and I reacted.

  well played!

Congrats on a great career broges. Like has been mentioned, wears his heart on his sleeve and plays with passion, a memo the rest of the power squad should take note of.

Tough to win a premiership / championship in one professional sport, let alone two. Well played mate!

Not a loaded question. did he play many minutes for the 36 ers or just a squad member?

Good career from someone with limited ability that that got the most out of the abilty he did have. Spoken to him many times and always seemed a decent bloke.

Seeing as though I've had multiple pm's about this I'll post this for all to see in brief detail. It involved a school visit in a pro port supporter area about 4 years ago.
In front of the whole school the players were involved in talking about themselves fielding questions etc. He was rude, disinterested in engaging with the kids and eventually spat the dummy (with some quiet language under his breath) and went and sat in the car for the remainder of the time. The other port players were fantastic, had a kick with the kids etc but he definitely tarnished port that day as adults, staff, kids still mention that day. This is a brief account as I mentioned but the result was a formal complaint being sent by the principal to port adelaide.

Well if true he must have changed which is credit to him. As at a similar clinic 2 years ago he ran the whole thing and was fantastic with the kids, there was 5 players there and he was the standout as far as energy, commitment and assisting the kids. It was the others that didnt seem overly interested.

Yeah I think this school incident was just after the assault of a crow fan one. He obviously learnt and saved his aggression for the field

My missus was in shock at the Port v Richmond game in Darwin. We were sitting behind the interchange bench, as the players weren't in a typical interchange box, and she couldn't believe the size of his chin. No photo she took would do it justice. The camera takes off 5 pounds.

All credit to Brogan for retiring while he still holds his spot easily at Port. Some others their could learn from him.

I personally think Port should try to trade for Cameron Wood, although they wouldn't want to give up their first pick for him.
