It's very selfish of the player IMO. Should be picked on merit.

If i was Chad i'd tell them to stick their CHARITY game up their ar..

Chad deserves to be in that current side now, he's better than half the current team.
What a joke, i can see now why they are bottom 2.

I'm sure Chad doesn't think he's finished regardless of what the Power think, they are just holding him back from adding to his already marvelous career & game tally.
I don't see it as bitter stan at all i see it as a player thats been treated unfairly, Chad could have a huge influence at present in developing the younger ones alot quicker than the current structure thats in place, surely that would have Port alot higher on the premiership table than their current position and surely that backline wouldn't be conceding as many goals as it currently is.
Chad would be the general down back, Chaplin & Allipate would learn alot from him aswell.
I believe in a mid - season trade, i have no doubt a few other clubs would be more than interested in Chad Cornes.

i couldnt understand chad not getting a game in power were sitting top of the ladder injury free and dominating...
but clearly are struggling... so why not bring him in.

Disagree. For a start chad played in our three worst losses this year - geelong, gold coast and north melbourne. Secondly, both chaps and carlile are mid 20s. They arent young kids anymore.

I love the chad. I think hes a very underrated player whos been first class as a forward, as a defender and as a midfielder. Hes up there with pav and goodes as the best utility in the last 10-15 years, but i think people are overrating what he can do and what he can influence at afl level nowadays.

Fair points Macca, but for the majority of this season Carlisle has had a free pass because he's played some terrible footy at times .. Free passes at any club at any level are always a dangerous thing.

Port are rebuilding aren't they? Much better getting games into the young guys now, than playing someone who is finished. Don't think Chad yelling at young blokes on the field when they don't kick it sideways to him is going to help.

Yeah but when the kids are duds surely an old head is much better. Even you North guys are saying how crap Moore is yet he gets a game ahead of Chad

Different sort of player but its worthwhile getting games into a 19 yo first round pick.

Fair enough, well if Port dont believe he is part of there team going forward, then he should ask to be traded at seasons end or go into the draft and see who is interested. I would agree there would be some teams that would be interested in him. I would say it would be only certain teams looking at a premiership crack in the next year or son.

11 disposals, six marks, one tackle, and 0.1

Not exactly a return to write home about, but should hold his spot.
