Looks like the old article - with "this weeks draft" added.

And second Aussie?
That's a stretch!

I laughed when it said secon Aussie to go 1. I have read articles saying henwanted to play for USA. But maybe the Olympics for us then go back to the USA. That's how I see it playing out. I know his dad was pushing him to do it because he is unlikely to make the USA team at the point in the net future . See how it plays out

Also that particular draft was interesting in that not many of the first rounders ended up having much of an impact but the likes of Dennis Rodman and Jeff Hornacek lasted until the second round and the late Drazen Petrovic - who appeared to be on his way to being a star at the time of his death in 1993 - lasted until the third round.
The NBA was known to have a bad drug problem at the time and probably didn't improve as much as the league would have you believe in the future with the death of Reggie Lewis in 1993 being a particular case where certain facts were overlooked seeming to protect other people's interest.
The story of Hank Gathers is also a tragic one - not insinuating anything here - who would likely have been a top draft choice in 1990 if he had lived.
The death of Bias certainly had an effect of former Maryland alumni in Elmore Spencer and Buck Williams.

Interesting to see kyrie Irving on sports nation on espn calling himself the Aussie assassin and saying he will be a boomer in London if they will have him. He also can pull off a decent Aussie accent. Great news for us.

I'm looking forward to it.

Heard many trade rumours, so interesting to see what happens.

Pau to the T-wolves for Love + Pick 2 is apparently a chance.

And, I don't quite mind it for either team.

Timberwolves also claim they will keep the pick and take Williams and keep Randolph and Beasly though. Cavs are hard shopping the number 4 pick because the Jazz are keen on Kanter at 3. The thing im waiting to see is if the Cavs take Williams one because then they can get Kemba Walker or Brandon Knight at 4. Have to wait and see, but after the first 5 picks the interesting stuff is over lol, except for where the mighty Jimmer ends up

Cavs are hard on Williams too apparently, and would love picks 1 and 2...
Toying with the idea of Williams at #1, and hoping that Irving would go to 4 - with the Twolves not taking another PG, and the Jazz not either (in theory)

the jazz would, but If by chance Kyrie fell to 3rd, which is near impossible the wolves apparently would be more willing to move Rubio then pass on Irving. The Jazz would never pass on Irving at 3, Jimmer is a potential good bench player, Irving is the best in the class by far. But I think this is all just rumours, I think it is 100 % done that the Cavs take Kyrie, and the Wolves will keep the 2 take Williams and likely shop Beasley. I also expect the Jazz to take Kanter at 3 which will disappointthe Cavs who will move the no.4 on to the many suitors who have already offered for it.

Jazz could do worse than Jimmer. I still think that's high for him - but eh, it's the Jazz, they'll be fine. Plus he's a home-town boy.
I am keen to see how he goes.

Would be a dumb move for Wolves IMHO to even consider it.

It's Minnesota, it's a good trade for them ;)

Kevin Love doesnt make the Lakers any better either and surely the Wolves are not dumb enough to add an aging center heading towards the end of his career ????

Iguodola looks like heading to the Clips for Kaman, Aminu and Warren.

Also Spurs are shopping Tony Parker, sounds like they are trying to add some youngsters to their aging squad.

Anyone say Chicago? Nice back-up if he'd do it

Last year it was Parker for Paul rumours.

I like the idea of Westbrook/Paul being swapped though ;)
