Why is SFL not seen as country????? SFL is an uneven league for sure the SFL have played SAAFL each year for the last 3 years for a 1-2 return. and are always close games i would have to say also that most SFL sides would make top 5 GSFL. WIllunga And Creeks would push for top 4 southern if they have same teams as 06 or better but may not cut the mustard come september as for the rest middle to lower end of the ladder. would be good to see the Premiership side from both southern leagues play-off at the end of the year to see who is stronger

Are there any GSFL sides playing against any SFL sides in trial games over the next month?? If so I'd be interested to hear how they go.

Yeah limb, I will keep you posted when it happens.
Im sure Victor Harbour are playing Christies at Encounter Bay oval on the 16th March.
Personally Id say itd be a white wash with victor winning, theyve recruited heavily.
Christies are not that much chop are they?

i'd say Victor in that game aswell. they have recruited well this year a couple coming from Morphies. Christies have lost a heap and will struggle in sfl this season.

speaking to the goolwa boys yesterday and their pretty happy with the youmans pick up. but they haven't really picked up any other players. may struggle yet again as still don't have a ruckman and are desperatly trying. interesting to c how they go in the trial games against raiders and ironbank, both div 1 hills clubs who struggled last year but have both picked up alot of players this year. possibly a sign of comparing struggling clubs between the leagues.

Scott Baggs with Encounter - may be a part of the leadership team. Training the house down from all reports.

Martin and White have played for Victor recently, Martin is up in NT playing ATM not sure if he'll be back for the Roos this year.

Mansell coached the Saints a few years ago, not sure of his involvement last few years.
