I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you there that that was the case, but there should be a hell of a lot more to qualify than just being a premiership captain twice.

And...there's nothing wrong with being a good honest player, particularly when you get a great career out of it, along with being a two time prem captain.

1. Voss. Hardest footballer I've ever seen. Great skills and the best leader of the past 20 years.
2. Buckley. Easily the best skills of the four and pretty much single handedly dragged the Pies to 2 grand finals in a row.
3. Ricciuto. Tough as nails in a similar mould to Voss, but did not lead his side to 3 flags.
4. Hird. Great player, but never rated him as much as the other 3.
