Not too sure on this, and it did come from Wikipedia:

Shaq 1207 games (I don't know which type of games), scored in 1197 of those games- only ten games without scoring.

Is that reasonable at NBA level...?

I can only think of two regular season games in his career when he went scoreless and one playoff game. Once in a game with Miami when he injured his knee on a rebound in the first two minutes of the game and never returned and about halfway through this season when the Celtics beat the Lakers in LA and I think he got in foul trouble but anyway had 0 points on 0-2 shooting and 6 rebounds.

The one playoff game was what turned out to be his final game in Game 4 of the Celtics 2nd round series loss to the Heat. He made a valiant comeback the game before despite still being injured and in Game 4 only played 3 and a half minutes in the first half before re-injuring the calf & achilles again. He didn't play the rest of the game and was out injured for Game 5.

On a sidenote it really was a disappointing way for Shaq's career to finish. He'll unfairly be remembered going out as a complete stiff that could barely move let alone run but the reality was he was decimated by injury at that point and really shouldn't have been playing.

In his first 18 games this season with the Celtics (he only played 37 games all season) he was their starting centre and they had the best record in the East. He was averaging 11 ppg and 7 rpg up until that point shen he first tweaked the calf. From then on his production deteriorated averaging just 7 ppg & 3 rpg over his next 18 games before finally going out with the inflamed achilles.

He missed the next 27 games making his comeback late in the season against Detroit came off of the bench and scored 6 points in about 5 and half minutes before tweaking the calf/achilles again. It was at that point I knew he was finally done and probably would run out of time to make it back this season. He missed the last six games of the regular season, the first round series against the Knicks and the first two games of the series against the Heat. Supposedly he pleaded with Doc Rivers to let him play in Game 3 but could only give 8 and half minutes of spot duty off the bench and then just 3 and half minutes in the first half of Game 4 before sitting out Game 5 altogether.

Both his & the Celtics first half of the season were so promising with two good wins over the Heat and the best record in the East but his body then decided it had had enough, the Perkins trade didn't help things and the Celtics never were able to get healthy and regain their form from the first half of the season the rest of the way and went out in the 2nd round in limp fashion. A disappointing final season that looked to be on track as a fitting finale at the midway point, not to be.

Poor end to the half by the Mavs with Wade taking over. All tied up.

Out to 15 now. Looks like the best two teams played off in the East Finals.

That was a pretty special game, Bosh is a pansy, Dirk Just pushed past him with ease there to score the winning bucket. Looking forward to the Dallas leg, get the feeling this could be a long series !
