Ordinary. Absolutely ordinary.

To me it just seems like they keep expecting someone else to do it. Newsflash - no one else is going to do it. We have no genuine matchwinners a la Judd at the moment. If you want to win, you have to do it yourselves, and do it as a team.

I tend to agree with you MM. Season over.

Who have I been kidding? Adelaide are ****. :?

I had a lurk in there the other day but I was a good boy and didn't post anything. We'll win comfortably, we'll win by ten goals...I was LMAO at the misplaced confidence. Brisbane with Jonno Brown are a much different beast without him and while I thought Adelaide would win I just didn't get the ten goal vibe. No wonder you blokes want your own forum ha ha.

Speaking of laughing KHunt goal.....LOL. Just doing our bit for the code!

imho they are at a stage where they lack the real quality players. They have alot of mid range players who are on the bubble of being elite or not up to standard.

The list also falls away pretty quickly blokes such as Petrenko and Henderson have barely dominated SANFL games never mind playing at AFL level.

Neil Craig has done a very servicable job at his time with the Crows but imho he has taken them as far as he can. Time for someone else to step in. Bassett is throwing his name in the mix with a great start to his coaching career at Norwood.

Yeah they seem to lack any fire in their bellies and their skills are pretty poor.

All the money in the world wont get a big name coach to Adelaide. All the footy action is in Melbourne and im tipping vacancies at the demons, dogs and possibly saints next year.

Adelaide certainly do stink, but I thought the Lions' pressure was good for most of the match.

I was there yesterday and Adelaide were just terrible.
Falling over at critical times, not holding tackles and applying little to no pressure on the Lions.
Thought Thompson and Johncock were standouts for the Crows (even though Stiffy made a few errors, he was one of the few to have a real crack).

Sydney is a bit more enticing han Adelaide, less media crap for a start.
Roos had already been playing up there and an assistant so his family were already there. Would think it would be hard to get a coach to uproot his family to come to Adelaide.
Will almost guarantee crows wont get a big name over here

I'm with you Jim, I couldn't see any non-Adelaidian that's sought after, coming across .. I think the Crows best hope would be Goodwin, Bassett or maybe Scotty Burns depending on where he's at and how he's rated.

Interstate coaches will remember Robert Shaw being chased back across the border with torches and pitchforks.
