That would be right, the recent "Little Ice Age" ended during the second half of the 19th Century.
The globe than started back towards its normal temperatures over the longer term.

As I mentioned from London, the chart in the Natural History Museum demonstrates that, currently, ocean levels and global temperatures are well below the long term averages.
