Be thankful that it is that much. Mine was twice the price without the rebate  That I had to pay upfront then go and get the rebate from my Private Health Fund....

It's bullshit. I can claim anything from Feldenkrais to Rolfing...but can't claim a goddamn MRI ](*,)

Last week was a competition bye due to there being a Cup round. This weekend it is just a team bye. We have another one later in the season too

That sort rarely improve...probably better to drop her now for someone who actually understands what 'volunteer' means.

Pidge, knowing absolutely nothing about your sport, league or general competition, I would has it a guess that it has something to do with playing an even number of complete rounds.
So the regular season may last 16 weeks, but cause you have an 8 team comp, you need to play the 7 other teams twice each (home and away) therefore only need to play 14 weeks. If you were to fill in those last two with more games, people would start to complain that the comp no longer has a draw but rather a FIXture.

Now, make me look like an idiot by stating that has nothing to do with it cause you play some teams 3 times and others once! lol

Nope, i'm pretty sure you are spot on.
The way to avoid playing some teams twice and other teams three times would be to schedule games on Cup weekends. This doesn't affect C Grade teams as they don't compete in the Cup.

Try playing ( my son does ) in a 6 team footy comp where you play ( as we do this week ) a team two weeks in a row.

If it was Haydos, I'd get a sex change and move to the Western suburbs.

PS. I have no idea where I suggested Matthew Hayden was the night stalker
