Im a little worried at 3/4 time but the lads will come home and win.

A few of the young guys have shown plenty today> I am wrapped and think the premiership window could still be open

OldFB 10 goals up? um when were we 10 goals up?

When they get on top of the MID they are near on impossible to stop! Strength and X factor are why they are the reigning premiers.

Far more positives than negatives. Scoreline isnt reflective of the effort our lads showed today!

;) yeah we had a chance i think 2 mins before half time and missed, which would have made it 36 points i think.

knowing what the maggies are capable of i was never comfy watching the game. even at 30pts. We busted our nut and once we started kicking the ball properly we looked capable of anything. They then grabbed the momentum and the rest is history.

Whoever says disgrace, blames craigy etc etc arent true crows supporters and lack foresight. That perf against arguably the best team in the comp was fantastic and the junk time goals flattered them. Wasnt we stopped we just purely and simply got over run by a truely powerful unit.

Matty Wright was fantastic, Luke Thompson keeps improving, Jeansch at HB is really suprising me with his output and his ball use is fantastic.

Schmidt isnt up to it, plodder who turns the footy over and Ricky just needs to learn some more about the game in the SANFL.

However we have used 35 players already and with injuries it doesnt really allow the players to go back to the SANFL.

I'm sorry, but pre-game expectations mean nothing when it comes to actual game day.

Up by 5 goals at 1/2.

Up by 4 goals 5 mins into the 4th.

Lose by 40+ points.

How is that anything other than disgraceful? Not a true Crows fan, get stuffed.

40 points dont mean sh*t, how many goals did they they kick in the last 5-7 mins (junk time) its a loss yes! but the effort was as good as this young squad could have done. So he word tdisgrace isn't applicable in this instance at all. They did not disgrace the AFC they busted their ass and unfortunately were well out of their weight division.... as expected.

You have rocks in your head if you dont think they tried to fight it out. These kids busted their arses for three qtrs. In the end it was men versus kids. Look out in a few years time.

Scary to think Maggies kicked 18 goals to our 6 in the second half, our kids played well so hopefully they learnt a lesson today.

Got killed in the centre, just failed to be competitive in the 2nd half.

Guys like Reilly, VB and Douglas were "ineffective" and let the side down.

Thought that the Crows were great for 3 qtrs - Collingwood always going to be tough to beat considering our up and down year. Jacobs dominated and manhandled the Pies early, but with the depth of their midfield they just kept coming.

I guess we need to find out who can and can't play at the moment - clearly Schmidt struggles although he was Ok early, and Gunston just turned the footy over each time he touched it in the last half. Sellar was good for a half, but just doesn't have that hardness when you need him at critical times. We really miss Davis, because L. Thompson needs to play on the 3rd Tall and we get exposed when he goes to one of their key talls - saying that he is a great find.

They need to just keep plugging away, and find us a tough in and under to compliment the group and we need to find a Big tall who can play both ends and give us some flexibility - we don't really have that at the moment. Wouldn't it be nice if we also that x-factor small in the front half.

Just hoping for the perfect side I guess

I like your point regarding Thompson but just think what the backline could be next year and the following years when Thompson is expose to a better forward and getting game time on more hardened fowards will be a good learning curve for him.

What a dissapointing last 20 minutes. Craig made no changes, sack him now. Goals in junk time are still goals for gods sake, that argument is poor footyNOTsmart, I dont care what time they come, they came. We were a disgrace in that last term.

Good for 3/4 but I doubt VB, Douglas and Rielly can give enough support to Thommo.

I hate the phrase "junk time". Goals are important no matter when they are kicked. Could miss out on finals on percentage.
Pretty non-plussed about this result, regardless of the quality of the opposition.

I really wish this 'exciting team of the future' would live for the moment.

Yeah no worries chimp. You constantly come on here and bag AFC threaten to stop supporting them so that shows what type or supporter you are.

What moves should have craigy have made? throw Roo in the guts or Edwards..... cattle isnt there atm to compete with the midfield of the pies. And we arent alone. Anyone outside of the top 4 struggles to run with them for 4qtrs. You cant keep quality teams down for 4qtrs unless you have a quality experienced side like Geelong. Momentum is a powerful thing, and they sure had that in the last qtr. What could have craigy down to stop Daisy's torp in the last, Krakour snapping them out his thring hole and sitting on players heads, pendles kicking them from 55. Thats footy!

You and a few others constantly focus on the negatives while the way our squad is forming and performing is fantastic. We could be sitting 16 or 17 but we are competing and developing every game.

Ginger where are you? we need come commonsense and perspective on here
