Same here.

Have only seen one or two Magpies games in the last eleven years.

Hopefully with the Maggies playing the curtain-raiser, Swans fans don't ask me where I got that "funny-looking Collingwood guernsey from" this year...

91 points.

And a very funny exchange between the Magpies cheer squad.

And #30 for the Eagles...

Biggest margin (92 points) and scoring ratio (7:1) of the tournament to date, East Coast now with its lowest score (15 points.)

#30 was pretty pumped after kicking a goal in the 3rd quarter.

So the knuckle-draggers gave it to him.

Young fella probably hasn't played in front of a hostile crowd before.

Returned fire.

Obviously hasn't been to the zoo lately...

Very good turnout by the Magpies support over the weekend. Probably 30-odd on my flight and saw another 120-odd standing outside the gate as we arrived.

Piss easy game though...

I got to the game just after it started and was surprised to see a decent showing of Port Magpies fans as well as Power fans early on. The Port fans were very vocal and easily outnumbered the Eagles fans - almost like a home game for Port.

As the scoreline suggested, Port dominated the hapless East Coast Eagles all day. Port played very well - their disposal and marking were excellent throughout and kicking for goal from set shots was accurate. I was impressed with the game of Mieckeljohn and the other Port talls also did well.

I am interested in why the East Coast Eagles didn't go into the rooms at halftime - they stayed out in the middle of the ground and were talked to in a huddle.

Heard an interview with Simon McPhee the Claremont coach saying how brilliant the comp is and how good the trip to Tassie was for players. However that interview was pre-game and they were flogged in their WAFL game post trip.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
