As a neutral supporter last night, and for a long time now, Judd gets given a shiat load more time to dispose of a ball, his tackles are instantly are called holding the ball and when in disposes of it incorrectly, it doesn't get called. His ball winning ability is as good as anyones, but his kicking is crap compared to the best and he is completely looked after by the umpires all day and night. I agree with REB on this one

Talking about this season so far. Watson would be in top 5 fir the 1st few rounds, if the all aus team was picked today watson would get a gig over judd. Whether he can keep it up only time will tell. I got $100 on him at $22 for brownlow so hoping the honeymoon lasts a little longer

A few people have said Kirt Tippet and I agree. I like him as a footballer but he's falls down a bit with his consistancy and basic skills. The big thing for me with him though is his pay packet, has anyone seen how much he gets? I remember seeing it in the paper(?) and even though I can't remember the exact figure, I was very surprised with what he gets and thought he was overpriced considering his output.

I agree with you about Tippett. He needs to start kicking goals and by doing that I mean kicking straight as well!

re Tippet - he's not quite 24, doubt there would be many tall forwards (CHF) that have dominated the game at that age. Certainly not to the extent that some of you seem to be expecting. However, yes he is frustrating.

re Walker - just realised he's 21 today but only J.Riewoldt and Franklin have kicked more goals than him so far this season. He's doing alright.

Yes I've never heard Tippett being called 'the next Salmon' by anyone. I don't think Tippett is overrated by anyone...except perhaps the Adelaide Football Club. Not sure what they paid him to keep him out of the Suns' clutches but on what I've seen this year it's too much. Tippett, like Walker just don't work hard enough for mine.

Can't believe some of you geniuses' comments about Judd. Over-rated? He is one of the greatest players ever to have played the game. period... - Should we not shower accolades on him at all??? On some of the ridiculous postings here, we must also think that Lockett, Buckley, Barassi, Bradman are also over-rated. Perhaps the media shouldn't make any positive comments about anyone.
