Rik E Boy wrote:Not much (experienced) depth at Crowland. And as I predicted pre-season this could very well be a one step back kind of year as it is much harder to go in for a full year without Edwards, McLeod, Goodwin and Burton than it is to last all year without those seasoned players. While Port fans should be delighted at the moment the question they should be asking themselves is why they only turn up to play just the one opponent. They are like Freo used to be like which is not a good look.

the whole footy club neds to grow some balls and ask themselves do they want to win a flag anytime in the next 5 years or are they just happy going through the motions. think a few at the club might be just happy going to work n getting paid. can think of 22 players that shouldnt get paid this week. i know if i went to work and did a quater of the work i should i might not be around next week.

Lucky for him he changed his own employment structure so only he decides when he goes. Perhaps he should decide that soon if the crows keep performing like they have since the bye.

Another couple more games like that & Craig will be out on his Ar$e, the Crows are laughing at him at present signing that rediculous contract.
He's dug a big hole for himself.

What do people make of this comment from Craig in the press conference after the match

"we were bulldozed by a pretty powerful side"

Tippet& Walker dont work together up forward, sounds good, does not work. Both play better when one isnt in the forward 50.
Maric as Sub, crows had 3 ruckman already playing. Who is responsible for that call!

It's easy to say now, but I don't think they picked the right guy for captain either.

I'll take it further. Any other AFL club and he wouldn't have been appointed in the first place.

Didn't West Coast offer him the job but he declined the year Worsfold was appointed?

That's just part of the riddles we've had to listen to for years from this clown. He tries to be too articulate, it's footy FFS, you get the ball, you give it to a team-mate and then when you are close enough to the goals you have a shot.
I'll never forget a few years back, I think they were 15-1 and were head and shoulders above the rest, poor player management succumbed and they bowed out of the finals race without offering a whimper.
I don't dislike the crows but they sure do lack integrity at the top and struggle to make big calls, they keep ageing injury prone players on their list too long and the same with their coaching staff, they are a fair way off the mark now, time to rebuild.

Wondering if the Crows have started sounding out Kris Massie as a potential assistant for season 2012?
