Yeah you're right it is all media hype at the moment, its all good for footy when Victorias 3 big teams are the top 3 on the ladder. The next few weeks will be exciting with us playing each other in front of massive crowds

Nothing sweeter than smashing the saints. Made them look very average. Trying to keep a lid on it but pumped up ATM, got some absolute crackers coming up v Carlton and Collingwood, Hopefully a couple of huge crowds. Maybe the media might start eating their words or is it still just a honeymoon period for hirdy :D

I don't think much can be taken out of todays game. You guys have had their measure for the last 3 years.

Hille, going to come back in for Bellchambers? He has been good the last two weeks.

Hird said will probably play 3 ruckman next week. Hille and Ryder can both play as forwards. A pretty good forward line this week if it does happen especially against a pretty pathetic Carlton backline!!

If Essendon beat Carlton this week will be a massive build up to ANZAC Day the week after!!!

I get 2 gold memberships every year but i heard the club was offering 3 game memberships that included anzac day. There were still some left on weekend, dont know price.
Have mates that go most years and get scalpers tickets, they want $100+ but wait to a few minutes before start and they will sell them at cost

Just spoke to someone who works at the club. Still 3 game packages avail. Gets you reserved seating at anzac day, rd 11 v melbourne and rd 16 v richmond. Costs $130. Good value, buy a couple and sell them at the gate, you will get from $200 up from collingwood followers.
