I thought it was great to have Bruce back! What don't you like about him Wedgie?

Sorry mate, I can't have anyone badmouth 'The Boy From Dimboola' Tim Watson!

Him, 'The Flying Dutchman' Paul Van Der Haar & former Glenelg Captain Paul Weston

Fair enough. Champion player and a very fair one.

He lost me when he made the "fish rots at the head" comment last year, then backpedalled from it. This, coupled with his coaching career, robs him of any pretence to being authoritative.

I listen to Tim Watson each morning on SEN. I have to say he confuses me, you never know where you stand with Watson. You can't tell if he's being serious or just taking the piss. His stance on issues are inconsistent, and it is no mystery to me why he never made a successful coach. As a commentator he's wishy washy and adds nothing to the call.

Seems pretty second rate to me. The Saints Lions game didn't so them many favours though.

It might just work if you play Collingwood up there everytime.

the best thing about 9 not doing the footy, is that Collingwood will still have the same amount of media coverage, minus the bleating of inbred mutants about "conflict of interest" regarding Eddie...

agree...give me Lyon over Watson anyday...I see Dwayne Russell in on Fox so thats a good recruitment by them...

7 were terrible...even Cometti's cheap shot at Eddie was not needed...their camera work was pathetic at times not even having the ball in picture

I don't mind Garry Lyon. It was Brereton that I couldn't stand.

I thought the commentary on Ch 7 was excellent and I liked their camera work better than 9. I much prefer the use of the wide angle than the continual close ups we got on Ch 9.

Commetti's quip about "Working well in confined spaces,a bit of Ralph Feinnes(sp) about him!" GOLD.
