Crows review 2007 (from AFL.com.au)

Talk on the national game

Maric, Douglas and Porplyzia in the best 22 for mine.

McGregor may well go ok at CHB for some or much of the season, but will get found out at some stage for lack of mobility!

Forward line provides plenty of options, but looks easily closed down in tight games or by the better teams in the comp, the Ruck is very suspect.

For the Crows to have a reasonable year (and I think thats the best possible result they can achieve) they will need a good run with injury (granted, as many clubs will) and with the majority of your best players around 30yrs of age (or more) they look very vulnerable ... Tough year for them I think.

To be a truly 'gun side' you need a forward capable of kicking 70+ goals, which one of these is it?

Who from the west coast kicked 70+ goals last year, or were they not a gun side last year?
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

2007 BEST 22

B: Johncock, Rutten, Bassett
HB: McLeod, McGregor, Mattner
C: Burton, Goodwin, Reilly
HF: Thompson, Perrie, Bode
F: Welsh, Bock, Ricciuto
FOLL: Hudson, Shirley, Edwards
I/C: Doughty, van Berlo, Knights, Meesen
EMG: Stevens, Porplyzia, Douglas

I would of thought Maric for Meesen and this is fairly accurate. Thoughts?

Torney would make my 22
