Obviously guys don't care enough when they lose. I guess it's the youth of today, footy isn't as important these days to blokes like it was 10 years ago.
Have a listent to yourself Hollywood - you really are an old fossil
Your body's now Heritage Listed Lasted not even one training

can be very distracting - especially when netball sides start doing their pre-season running as well
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much
luthies first week of training. good numbers around 30-40 both nights. a lot of new faces. too early to say if they are any good. the club is talking up its chances about the season as they did last year and finished 8th. IMO the team we had last yr they were too young and mentally not strong enough, and i can see this being a problem again this yr... too many people wanting a kick and a catch and not wanting to win a flag.

Will be tough to find a replacement for Meigel too!

Rodgy certainly looks fit enough to still be playing! I never had the pleasure of watching the great man but the word is he could play a bit..
In all seriousness, Rowy Miegel is an absolute star on and off the field and will be irreplaceable for the Doggies.. but ... we did absolute rely 100% on him and kick him the footy even if he had 8 blokes on him and was tying his shoe lace up.
If this year some blokes have to stand up and the attack becomes less predictable the Doggies could still be big improvers. I hope so!
I have also heard there are 5-6 clubs in Pt. Lincoln area chasing big Miegs. Pretty handy to have a 6"7 gun CHF move into your area!!

Yes his brother is coaching there and that still probably wouldnt be enough to drag him from Berri after playing in a flag. One thing for sure is he wont be at Adel Luth.
Ill cop that sweet ..... i shoulda bought a ticket SPEWING ...... great pick up for you blokes thats for sure !!! would be the equivalent of winning a prize in the third division having him suiting up for ya at div 5 level
I've only ever trained with him, never seen him play, but on the track he is all class. Superb skills, hard worker and a natural leader... can safely assume this describes his work on game day Freo?

Ashley gilliand? riverland bloke has had his injuries but also dropped a tonne of weight and is looking slim. if you've got a door you've got a gym!

No i havent .... but ive seen some riverland footy and im aware he was a key midfielder at berri who went on to win the flag. So ya would assume he will do some damage at div 5 level
