wouldn't have thought so. However there will be special interest leading into it because of Hird coaching no doubt. You might want to get on the net as soon as they become available though to ensure you get a gig. We've purchased tickets over the net prior to the event in previous years and never had any problems.

Yeah do it.

Have a Collingwood & a Essendon membership at the same time.

Imagine how big a prick you'll be then

Same mate- looking to purchase some general admissions online when they are available. Should be fine. Reckon Wedgie did that this year.

could be worth looking into a AFL membership.

for the benefits see below.

AFL Membership

That's how I got to go last year via someone I knew had the AFL membership. GA tickets will sell out quickly and when I was in Melbourne I also went to the VFL game Collingwood/Bendigo and plenty of Magpie and Bombers fans were saying they didn't get a ticket to the AFL game.

If you got an AFL membership you could nominate Collingwood as your team and then you count in their membership figures rather than Essendon's. If that's an issue.

Im an essendon member abd have attended every anzac day match and i can tell you thst getting a ticket no problem. For the last 6 years a couple of mates have come over with me and get scalpers tickets no problem. Last year people wanted $80/ticket but the trick is to hold off to about 30min before kickoff and they will practically giving them away.

Wonder if my framed poster sized photo of Maurice handing Michael Long his Norm Smith medal is worth more now.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Will be doing the same again this year.

If you want to contribute to a greedy evil organisation simply buy some bank shares. You'll get much more value out of them.

True I have shares in all the majors and they are paying reasonable dividends compared to other shares.
However, I would like them to pay executives less and shareholders more - my cash deposits are actually earning at a better rate than any shares at the moment.

No.

No one match could be worth the shame...

Imagine telling your grandkids that in 2011 you were an Essendon supporter...

Actually, in your case, probably that'd be a step up... ;)

I've got Peroni [Nastro Azzuro] in my fridge - nice bitterness, dry, hoppy, 5.1% alcohol.. 8)
But I don't actually mind XXXX compared with some I've had.
I tend to drink Cascade when I want a light beer.

Essendon are probably my favourite Melbourne based club. I wouldn't have any shame being associated with them.

Yeah alot of mcc members are melbourne supporters.
I think before last years gf the anzac day crowds were bigger than gf crowds for about 4 or 5 years.
Pity mcg doesnt get filled, i remember in 1993 about half way through the 1st qtr the crowd was still packed outside so they opened up one of the members area and let people pile in. The atmosphere was electric
