Fitzroy Football Club 2007 memberships

Postby Roylion » Thu Nov 23, 2006 7:42 pm

I was asked in a previous thread to post when Fitzroy Football Club memberships were out for 2007, as there may have been some interest in joining.

As I've just received my membership renewal for 2007, I thought I'd post it now.

2007 Fitzroy Football Club memberships are:
- Ordinary Membership - $25.
- Family membership - $30.
- Gold Lions sponsorship - $150.
- Concession - $20. (Holders of Aged/Widows Pensions. Unemployment benefits, students under 18).

The 2007 membership forms aren't up on the web yet, but if want to Email secretary Bill Atherton at
mailto:bill@fitzroyfc.com.au
he'll be most happy to send a 2007 membership form out to you.

There's also a number of new items for sale including the 2007 Fitzroy Football Club calendar. A new Fitzroy CD (featuring the club song and two other songs including Don Morrison's rendition of "Fitzroy I'm calling you" and Ugly Dave Gray's rendition of "Come on Fitzroy" is now available There is also a recording of the 1958 first semi-final against North Melbourne including comments by some of the players involved. There are also Fitzroy greeting cards, Fitzroy long sleeve and short sleeve jumpers (both in the pre and post 1975 styles), caps, stubby holders, key rings and so on. There is also a DVD "History of the Fitzroy Football Club" made in 1983 on the occasion of the club's centenary (narrated by John Blackman).

Incidentally the club made another overall profit in 2006 donating over $10,000 to the Fitzroy Juniors and the Fitzroy Reds.

LOL.

PhilG should know where the Fitzroy FC website is, for a membership form. He'd be most welcome to join. Who knows he might actually learn something.

Just in case.

Roylion,
Perhaps I can interest you in a membership for the Fitzroy Lions (SA), who are based at Renown Park? :D
We changed our jumpers to blue with a yellow lion on it, but I'm proud to announce that we are going back to the FFC!
(see SAAFL Div 5 2007 thread in the Regional Football section)
cheers,
PR
