EP Sport - back with a vengeance

Talk on any country footy league or club from the SA Country area

Postby haloman » Sat Jan 07, 2006 9:38 am

Quite amazing that a group of people on the net could stir up such a fuss. Hasn't the leauge got anything better to talk about!! The thoughts of many echo my own, don't like it don't read it. Grub have u got any odds on the first person reported for match fixing. I'll have $5 on bystander. No one could possibly be that bad without an alteria motive.

YES WAD can confirm you are right on who wrote the letter......He's back!!!
Scoob, How did the new pitch play at HQ? looked great, very green did it suit the seamers? did it have plenty of moisture in it?
Yes rossco.... PLFL clubs starting to panick about recruiting.... need them signatures!!!!
WCE who Tumby recruited? Heard they have sighned Matt Quinn and Mick Franklin from Cleve.
An unknown punter backed Rainbow for most wickets..... could have been any of six Tod River boys!!!!! (maybe they formed a sindicate) oH HANG ON LOOK.....someone also backed them to score 50 or less runs at 12-1.

PLCA to change to PLGA. G for Gestapo. They have lost the plot!! Pity they didn't react as strongly when it was actually a cricket related matter, like captains changing balls etc. I hope all clubs did what SES did with the letter, read it, laughed, read it again to see if there was a message somewhere saying it was a joke, then wiped my arse with it!!

To the PLCA, thanks for the free advertising and promotion of the site with the letter. Everyone was asking me for the address on Friday to have a look now. Great stuff........

just can't get over the fact they have the audacity to believe they can control what we do and say on internet sites. Their is a gambling ring operating, this is illegal and must stop immediately!! Gambling ring, ha ha ha ha ha...... Funny stuff CH, funny stuff. Pity they didn't bother to contact some of us before embarrasing themselves with that letter. We hide behind aliases for reasons only known to us he also said, if he'd bothered to ask me, he would have found out I've been on here since 2002 posting with the SANFL guys, who all use aliases. Most on here know who everyone is and I certainly don't hide my identity, nor have I ever posted anything defaming or worthy of further legal action. Get a life CH......

Grub, The new deck at Centenary has loads of potential. Good to see some grass on it and there is plenty of bounce. If WF can roll the hell out of it and keep a good grass covering it will be excellent come finals time. It did jag and pop off a good length which was to be expected. Chook hit be in the arm from one I tried to defend on the front foot and Chook copped one that reared from the same length. Ryan & Tonks were a handful and I reckon big Stiffy will enjoy bowling on it.

Hey WCP, don't hold back buddy!! I agree, if they know who we are why not give us a ring and express their concern. If it was that bad we would all being suing the arse off each other for the "friendly banter" that is spoken.. Did you understand what some of those words meant!!!

Yeah totally agree scoob... had a great look about it that pitch, just has to hold together for finals.
PLCA has requested that the PLRC not have any more twilight meetings on Fri nights as the standard of cricket on Saturday was shocking.... starting with wcps fielding efforts!!!
Has everyone seen the Hendo Sheild PL teams whats everyones thoughts on it? WCP would have been in the A grade but the selectors heard he had a party to go to on Fri night.
