Laurence Angwin wants to return to the AFL - as a senior coach.
The Herald Sun reports Angwin, dumped by the Blues after turning up to a recovery session drug affected in 2004, has been recruited by South Cairns as a playing assistant coach after two seasons at Victorian club Broadford.
Angwin, 24, who was also sacked by Adelaide, said he was a changed man after his early troubles and could return to the AFL as a coach.
