bruised heels are a bitch and can take weeks to mend, one of the hardest bones to break but it can be done.
Otherwise, really not much you can do. Stick it in a bucket of ice water for starters to calm down any bleeding.
That's it. Sucks to be him
Sucks to be me too - maybe earplugs are in order
It's the fathers job to say HTFU - oh and knowing A Dad this will happen
Thanks FC - he's been icing it
And I've basically told him
"There's nothing that can be done, so Shussh up" ....lol

I've had nearly the exact same thing happen to me. I did a backflip off the bars at school and bruised my heel all up - the day before we went away on holiday. My parents had no sympathy for me, particularly because a girl in my younger sister's class saw me do it, tried to do it herself and broke her arm.
I got a big foam sponge like you use to wash the car with, cut off a chunk and put it in my shoe, it helped somewhat.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

Tell him that I chipped bones in my ankle while stretching out on the couch this year. Can't get much more princess-like than that!

Right on sister, I hate that one also .. Along with 'Nucular', and eve "Tunafish" ,, Surely everyone knows Tuna is a damn fish?
Whilst we're on the topic of wanting to know something, I watched a movie last night where an adult character couldn't swim ..
Does anyone know an adult that actually can't swim (not even a little bit)?
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

No need to feel embarrassed mate, it's just that I've never met anyone who can't swim and thought maybe it only happens overseas or something .. Judging by WHUFC's post it's surprisingly (to me anyway) quite a common situation.

I didn't do it on the couch this time. It cracked as I stood up from sitting down.
