Fair dinkum my respect for Nick Maxwell has gone down big time.

Everyone knows the rules in regards to drawn grand finals and I hope there's no knee jerk reaction to his idiotic comment at the end of the game.

Probably being a bit harsh on him, was interviewed a minute after one of the toughest games we've ever seen.

"I dont think I've ever seen 44 guys go to war like we did just then, that was amazing and it's probably going to take this for the AFL to change the rules, it's an absolute joke, there's no way it should be decided after another game, guys come here for a win or loss and thats what we should be leaving with. We'll look forward to next week and use the hurt we're feeling now let it go and come back next week" (when asked what he's going to say to the players) "I've got no idea.. I'm spent".

Goddard definitely spoke better but he had a couple more minutes to slow the heart rate down a bit and think.

when the final siren went yesterday, after about a minute or so of just sitting there in utter dis-belief, i got up and walked outside, and vomited. wasn't feeling sick, and wasn't overly drunk at that stage. it just made me feel yucky. a very weird sensation.

I was so stunned.
I spent all day in the garden today in the Valley of the Weeds and it was alllllll I could think about.
Damn game.
