Cheap flights to Cairns - help??

My friend is getting married in Yungaburra, QLD and I'm trying to find a cheap flight for that weekend so I can go to the wedding. I'm looking for flights to Cairns leaving on the 9th October, coming back on the 11th. I am not very good with these cheap flight websites - too many hidden terms and conditions. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Seems flying direct Adelaide to Cairns ain't very cheap! Cheapest carrier is Jetsar at ~$550 return.

My mate lives up there at the navy base
Ive looked at flights from adelaide, couldnt find anything cheaper then about $500 return!

His sister did see $179 return but that was a small window and he wasnt gonna be there!

use webjet to look at the cheapest options but don't book on there website they will charge about $30 more in taxes you don't need to pay. use them only to find the cheap flight and then go to the airlines website direct.

Domestic flights rules and conditions are easy once you have booked they are non refundable (you money is gone) and if you need to change expect to pay from $60-$200 to do so
