not often i disagree with ya NM. I think Shocs are in with a huge chance. Very under stated side. HAve some quality in there midfield and hardness. Floreani, Byford and wilson, along with jack fosdike and maybe a jack Horan. The Big Taz up forward will be a hand full even for Scotty Berry. Think it will be a lot closer then people think.
tip henley 11> 20
B grade shocs 5+ goals
If they play that match up, Taz will have 4 by 1/4 time, it would have to be McGregor, either one. I think SHOC are in with a chance if they can win the stoppages. Their running game i would think is better than Henley's, so getting the quick hands out to the runners is thier game, thats where they have to win it.
Cos they beat my boys in the elimination final, and it would be a better feeling to have been elimated by the Premier........

SHOC will match them in the middle with Floreani, Fosdike and Bayford. Henley's flankers if given a chance to run forward will cause a lot of damage however

i doubt henley will put berry on big taz. i reckon most would expect macca to man him up. and you'll find taz will really struggle to do much as a result. henley to win by 8-10 goals.

Have to agree with you NM, Henley to win comfortably.
Still a fantastic effort by SHOC to get to the GF.
Bloody oath it is, i take my hat off to them they made the transition alot easier than expected. I would love to see them win.
I do remember when we went down a couple years back and Modbury beat SHOC's easy in the Div 2 GF. Modbury were pretty cockahoot about their chances in Div 1. Makes their fall and SHOC's rise even more impressive.

I think you're right NM, still was a bit surprised there wasn't more hype. I woulda tipped henley even against Goodwood, wouldn't be surprised if the B grade's closer than some suggest, then again i saw SHOC win the D1R GF last year and were very impressive

Hopefully a good couple of games. What's this game cost me to watch? $300?
East Park played the Div 2 GF at Thebby last week so i think you will find several avenues for free entry located within the fence surrounding the venue
The PNU Falcs 2005,06,13 x 2,14 and Div 1 Premiers in 2019......The SA 3peat - 2003,04,05

Just guessing but Clint Gates may have played in a heap of them??
J Starling???
Troy Klemm would have gone close from memory. Great player Klemm at either end of the field and hard as nails. Terrific footballer. Along with Spencer, Illman, Demasi and Bartel, proved the 5 big players and Match winners during their era of dominance and the 5 Flags although Illman probably only played in 2

Good time to start then isnt it, in a G/F, if SHOC get off to a big start they will be on the money, but they will need a big start, cant see them getting the silverware though, Henley by 7 points in a beauty

Just can not see how Sacred Heart can beat Henley. Been wrong before but just impossible to see. The SHOC midfield is about he only area where they might break even and possibly if Tasborski gets on top. Henley by plenty. 6 Goals or more.
