Who wins Cats V Pies in a fortnight if Cats get in?

Postby Bum Crack » Sun Sep 05, 2010 3:27 am

If this game eventuates, it will be the most commercialised advertised/game we have ever seen apart from a grand final ever. I hope it eventuates, because it will live up to all the hype.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I'm not worried about Freo, I'm worried that the GF is going to be a fizzer, because Geelong/Collingwood are light years ahead of the rest...

He understands the premise of the thread but not the rationale. Geelong need to respect Freo or this game won't happen and this thread will be irrelevant. We have to learn to hit the ground running rather than wait until a last quarter fightback or we are a very real chance of going out in straight sets.

Geelong are still a class above Freo. Freo also won't have a raging home crowd to spur them on either.

Pies vs Cats will be the game of the year.

Just my opinion Baron... :)

And my other opinion? Take out the year Goddard has had, and the Saints would be in no-ones thoughts...

Round 7 West Coast 15.12 (102) def. Hawthorn 14.10 (94)

Doesn't make West Coast a better team...

No.
Freo will do well if they get within 60 points.
Geelong have had a habit of obliterating the next side they play after a loss.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Not sure about them obliterating the next side they play after a loss:
Round 1 2009 -
Hawthorn 3.2 8.4 10.6 16.7 103
Geelong 4.8 8.16 14.19 15.21 111
8 points isn't obliterating anyone....
