Geelong is a 6 goal better team than my Saints
But SK keep finding ways to beat them [except for one certain game]

I would trade that last non Ling goal tonight, for a last qtr Schnieder free kick in last years granny ....

Maybe if Geelong weren't so bad in the first half you Geelong blokes wouldn't be commenting on the umpiring. Personally I think Geelong are still the team to beat and the teams that have to play them will be more worried about Geelong than vice versa.

Haven't been this pissed off after a final for years. St Kilda did have the edge...and who provided it for them? The same 'players' as when they defeated the Bulldogs last year.

Well obviously! But when you overhaul a 33 point deficit and get denied a win because of the maggots when Lenny Hayes has spent the first half pulling the same shit I guarantee you that less reasonable men than myself are going to get just an incy wincy bit agitated. ******* cheats.

I don't know about that mally. I reckon there's not much between the sides. I think after I've cooled off a bit I'll probably point to Milney's three goal burst on Hunt as the decisive factor. Even though Pods is unproven at finals level he at least takes marks inside the forward 50 and that was an area where the Saints slaughtered us, particularly in the first quarter.

I reckon your blokes copped another bullshit call in that Round 14 match too with Corey's 'advantage' call that day. Apart from that we own you. Do it without maggots mally. ;)

I'm over it now. They will be fired up for next week, even if it is hawthorn. I'm still confident. If anyone can win four finals in a row, it's going to be Geelong. Go you Catters!!!!!!!!!!
So you've seen everything have you?

I still think Geelong are good enough to win it all. Sydney in 2005 and West Coast in 2006 came back from a loss in week 1 of the finals to win the flag.
In between signatures .....

LMAO- Is this from someone who supports a side who were paid a goal in a GF last year with a clear 'poster'?

I know you are getting on REB but fair dinkum short memory... :)

Plus we all know its Wedgies fault for going to the game ;)

PS Bartel one of the best players going round in the wet, and always plays well in the cats losses. Gun.

And while you are a Hawthorn supporter even this simple equation should not escape you.

6-1 = 5

12-5 = 7

We still win. You're right though it's all Wedgies fault!

Harsh, that's the first final that wasn't a big one I've been at for a loss ever! ;)

Oh well, an excuse to spend 4 weeks of September away from the sh1thole Adelaide in September where nothing of note is happening.
Already booked my accom for next Friday nights game! :)

All in all not too bad a night as the Raiders got up in Brisbane to make the NRL finals! Am contemplating doing the Melb/Syd double next week. Looking forward to the VFL tomorrow too! :D

We kicked 1.7 in that last quarter! Ack. Pretty even if you ask me. Stiff for whoever lost the game, a bit like last year's granny I suppose. Not much between the sides for mine.

well that's where you lost it- not a Mooney's crude tackle.

You ******* beauty :D

Great game of footy. Bit rich all the Catters crying foul. (although if it hadn't been paid I'd be on here b*tching too). Never mind the Hawkings 'goal', Schneider being scragged late...even the free to Stokes in the final Q tonight was dubious...anyway.

Technically the free kick was there. I do think the push in the back gets over officiated/paid at times though.

2005 all over again. Winning a Qualifying final that few thought we would (you'll have to remind me of the dodgy calls that night Brad? Craig not tagging Harvey perhaps?), week off, seemingly in the 'soft' side of the draw. We all know how 2005 ended, hence there is plenty of footy left.... 8)
