The Crows & Power thread.....

Talk on the national game

Well I was at the game yesterday as a neutral supporter, to be honest the crows hand enough chances to take that game, but just could not convert. But still bad kicking is bad football. Port were very committed and I was astonished to here some people actually believing the Power had the fresher legs :? Not really sure if a trip to darwin is all that good for you but considering the win that the Power and the Dogs had, maybe it was just nice and refreshing ;)

Anyway some good match ups from Primus down back, although if Walker actually kicked straight you would have though that he would have one his battle with Salter but that did allow Chaplin to play as a sweaper which work well on the counter attack for the power.

Yes you are hiliarious REB. Sack Craig ahhahahha, ah crap I reckon my boy Worsfold would be looking over his shoulder a little more. The only thing Craigh should have done is perhaps push a bloke onto chaplin and made him accountable.

Hey why would I want Craig sacked? There's nothing quite like the excitement of the final seven.

you dont want to sack craig he is doing a good job of keeping the crow from playing some good footy they are certainty play well below the talent they have on there list.

i think the crows lost the show down when you have a talentless bloke like michael doughty toss the coin

How much talent do you need to toss a coin?

Congratulations to all the Port Fans.

Well done Port.

Thats football. :D

Come to Play or lose.

No-one will ever win by just being there.... ;)

Didn't my favourite player play well.

Brett Ebert. Give credit when it's due.

Well Done.

So do you think the Showdowns mean more to Port or the Crows?

I would suggest they mean more to the team higher on the ladder. It is after all just another Minor Round game.

If Port can't make the finals by the time the second Showdown rolls around, they win it.

Brett Ebert, what a frustrating player. I swear he plays 2 good games a year. Bastard.

Fair dinkum how can you lose to Port? You kicked nine goals against them last week and we beat that in one quarter. The only reason you beat us once in seven matches is because our Doctor nearly died on the Oval....and your mob have been milking it! ;)

The crows players probably started reading there own press after rolling Geelong. As to losing to Port well, it was all on the line and they could not get up.

You could be right, but still they got up. I guess the issue is about the crows with all to play for they just couldnt get up for it. Really considering the way both teams have been travelling they should have killed the power.

To be honest the skills of both sides were poor but we just worked harder in the contest when the game was on the line.

Umpires still ****!!!!!!

Crows goalkicking was atrious at best. Reminded me of the 98 GF all the play but did not finish the job and leftthe door open.

O'well a quite week at work this week might have to wear my scarf & jacket to work for abit of fun. :)) :)) :))

Sheesh, a loss to Richmond and they are eating their own. You blokes in that Crows Nest have lost it once again, you're so shirty about todays performance because you have some delusions of granduer. You blokes just aren't anywhere as near as good as you think you are.

Still figuring you'll finish "well ahead" of Port on the ladder?
