I can't see Daniel Stewart making it from what i have seen of him at SANFL level and AFL level. Salter isn't big enough to make it in the role he plays for the eagles but i think could be a handy HBF'er. Schultz has been servicable this year and deserves an extended run in the side and is more of a player that could be bombed to in a 1:1 situation.

I reckon Stewart is one I'd be working with if I were the Power .. Obviously not certain he'll make it but I reckon he shows enough ability, can continue to put weight on, and is a mobile big bastard.

Jay Schultz is the best long term forward option they (the Power) have.

Which means two things:

1) He has to play every game until they develop/draft a better option.

2) They (the Power) are going to be utter carp for quite a while...

Thought I'd pop in and take my lumps. We nearly pinched it but in reality the margin flattered the Cats. I won't go into the reasons why I think we could do better but rather state that the best side won on the night and as I said earlier in this thread it is the youngsters who worried me.

I thought Henderson, Walker and Sloane were all excellent and others who I normally don't have much time for in Vince, Thompson and Reilly were also effective on the night. Craig's decision to rest the tagger briefly in the last quarter was a beauty and I can only think of one Cat winner over the duration and that was Joel Selwood. The Cats looked tired and reactive for most of the match (don't know what the commentators were on as they kept talking us up as we did fumble after fumble and put on a masterclass in losing our feet GRR).

Too good so enjoy you Blackbirds, enjoy!

With very limited options its no great surprise Gray is back in. Would think hed play all game forward with maybe a five minute spell in the middle if at all.

I am pretty sure that Gray has been out for longer than 6 weeks.
