How daft am I. I've been up there, but couldn't recall it.
Yeh the castle entrance was behind me...can't remember what that building in the photo is but thought it typical Prague architecture.
Obviously it must have been my reference to Kafka's work and not the stag parties that reminded you

Hahahaa, yesh, technically Spain/Gibraltar is the Antipodean point of NZ.
But I don't think it's ever snowed on the rock!
But Gibraltar is closer than NZ!

How cool is this - a map of antipodes:
Interesting that the vast majority of land has an antipodean point being in an ocean.

This one's clearly too hard - my bad. It's the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. A natural thermal spring. Water temp is between 36-38 and is basically super heated seawater that bubbles up frm huge underground vents. The water has a fine soapy like silt that makes your skin feel amazing. Plus there were hot ladies everywehere! Your turn again Quichey...

Thats a good one. Initially I though Versaille, but it's not.
Will have to think about that one.

First photo I instantly thought the Mariinsky Palace in St Petersburg cos I have a watercolour I brought back of a view from the palace looking past a very similar statue towards St Issac's Cathederal.
But even though a comparision proved it isn't I'll have a try with St Petersburg out of sheer desperation and the similarity in building style.
Looking at the statue trying to think who it might be on horseback apparently holding a trident
