Here's one where you've all probably seen it even if you haven't been there :?

Further clues if necessary.

the brazillian ronaldo was playing, he was a bit old and slow though

Wow! Seeing the fat Ronaldo play would have been magic. Old and slow - who cares!! He's one of the greatest players in history. I'm bloody jealous!

I swear I've seen that before R&B, but can't recall where.

I think nearly everyone would have seen it before, but not noticed :?

Think Rose.

It's the mansion on the front of the Mateus Rose bottles.

Casa Mateus,at Vila Real in Portugal.

If no-one has put up a new one, I'll make it an easier one tonight.

I'm sure it's not but it reminds me of Jerash in Jordan...especially the 2nd photo.

No and no.

First hint: Roman ruins outside of Europe (probably doesn't help that much).

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

No JAS, didn't get to Libya. I don't even reckon the borders are open - happy to have given it a miss.

My mates exhubby used to work over there. Definitely possible to get there these days...I was considering it before I settled on Jordan. There's a fair bit of red tape to get a visa and you must be part of a tour group with a company they recognise as legit. Veterans groups go every year for memorials at Tobruk and a few other places.

Gutted that my tour didn't take in those ruins in Morocco!

On Libya - you're right JAS, you can go, but it's tough to get in and best to be VERY well behaved if you do.

I'd love to go to Tobruk. My Grandpa was a Rat of Tobruk and fought there during some of the heaviest German bombardments. I'd love to go and see what they were up against conditions-wise.

Apparently, Libya has the best preserved Roman ruins (outside of Rome) in the world.
