Couldn't see that bad more of a bonus getting pre prepared for season beginings, would be just like playing indoor in the off season.

Agreed....its a long bloody season. All well and good to be keen early, but there is also a need to remain keen through December, January and February.

One Tree Hill training already. sounds good to me. seems like they are planning on hitting the season running then. have to see whether it works for them. i would love to be training now.

and in reply to Papas saying its like playin indoor cricket in the off season. playing indoor cricket is a totally different game. it helps a bit, keeps the arm rolling over, and keeps the eye watchin cricket balls. but the shots you play are totally different, the balls behave in a totally different manner. i play indoor cricket aswell but i dont think it helps me too much when it comes to outdoor cricket. hope your not counting on ur indoor cricket to propel you into the outdoor season

find it hard to see how there could be a disavantage in starting to early... pretty sure the OTH boys are not doing a AFL pre season, some teams start there game of cricket a hour or so before a game, and when its hot it becomes a case of starting to early.... IMO of course ;)
