that is because the herald sun has a better write up on all football matches than that POS fish and chip wrapping over there.

Not sure that is very surprising - The Herald Sun seem to be far better/quicker at providing up to date coverage than Adelaide Now.

Messy situation could and should have been avoided at the end of last season.

Really felt for an understandably emotional Choco in that press conference.

Now let's see if the board are held accountable...

Laidley the man for 2011?

It's a shame it's come to this but no point persisting if neither party has their heart in continuing. For about 4 seasons Port were close to the best team in the comp and but for some bad losses in home finals and a rampaging competitor in the Brisbane Lions they may have had a second flag.

Its been rumoured that Laidley is intending to leave at the end of this year to pursue a career in the corprate world (apparently already has employment lined up) in Victoria as his wife is reluctant to come here.

Is this coach resignation/sacking on a game day a first? You would have to think so, surely.

I would have thought the best replacement for Choco would be someone from outside the club, someone the playing group isn't already closely attached to that has new idea's and styles?

Why? Do they suddenly have Jono Brown and Nick Riewoldt up forward? They are no chance.

I better not have to eat those words, especially considering I'll be at the game tonight...

Yesterdays Herald Sun reported that Mark Thompson believes Sanderson would be a good replacement for him when the time comes. If that is correct you would think that the Geelong hierarchy would listen and try to stitch him up somehow.

Agree with Sanderson. Laidley to go back to Melbourne next year and Chris Scott to take the reigns at West Coast.

Oh and the Crows will beat Freo in week one of the finals and then lose to the Bulldogs. I saw it all in my flash forward ;)

Ditto here. As a Crows fan it's a win win situation.
