Will the Crows finish ahead of the Power in 2010?

Postby Dogwatcher » Mon May 31, 2010 5:33 pm

Given Port's fall from grace in recent weeks, is it possible for the Crows to finish higher than their inter-town rival?

Who would have thought given the way the sides started the season.

If the Crows can put four quarters together in a few more games, maybe they can....

Power have a 3 game head start over the Crows and apart from Ports capitulation last week against Richmond in the floodwater (admittedly same for both) after coming off the dreaded Darwin trip their form has been OK. I'd expect Port to bounce back quickly starting this week against the Hawks with whom Port have had a terriffic record against in recent years.
Also i think that Adelaide could struggle to win another 3 games this season as well.
To finish higher -
Port $1.22
Crows $4.75

No, a 3 game lead is too much to haul in. Crows not playing anywhere near well enough.

Nothing is impossible, everything is possible.

The way this season is panning out I'd be too scared to put my money on anyone except Geelong.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

Crows would have to find 3 wins from here without Ports even taking to the park .. Possible yes, but there's no way I could see it happening.

As long as West Coast finish behind both of them I'll be happy ;)
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Weagles have a firm grip on it. Could be an interesting wrestle.

Richmond are so far ahead in terms of development than Port it's not funny. Who'd have thought that early in the season?

Well... Crows are tenth, Power lower than that, and the Eagles are right on the bottom.

You content Barto?
