Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
WWE have begun a new angle with NXT rookies.
I don't know if it's more "Invasion" or "NWO" style, but the rookies came in for no reason during the Cena/Punk match, and "beat the hell" outta both of them, as well as all the announcers, ref, etc, and took apart the ring.
Will be very interesting to see how they play with it...

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
Just saw the RAW A-Team skit with Quinton "Im Rashads Byatch" Jackson and i wanna drink poison and burn out my retenas, what a load of crap. The only highlight of that vomit fest was getting to see the American Dream Dusty Rhodes deliver an upright elbow. Once again WWE you dissapoint me so very very much and justify my belief that TNA is by far the better WRESTLING PRODUCT

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
tna is going down the same path as wcw did a few years ago.
using old wrestlers, same story lines with the same results.hopefully they dont forget what made them an attractive alternative to wwe by producing young and enthusiastic wrestlers.
history always repeats itself and only time will tell wether they have learnt anything from past mistakes.

and wwe aren't doing a heck of a lot better...
their nxt invasion angle is less wcw/ecw invasion, and more nwo thuggery...
at least I can see cena finally becoming the heel I want him to be...

i believe wwe lost the plot when eddie and chris departed for the big squre in the sky
every decent wrestler have left or departed=angle, hardie, chris, eddie, kennedy you could go on
sure, their are still some favourites their but to be honest the only time the crowds get a real buzz is when the texas rattle snake is around

'same story lines' rings a bell (pun intended), this chelsea/abyss story seems almost identical as i remember the chuck palombo/jamie noble (can't think of the girls name sorry) story line
lets be honest tna is rubbish... got some great tlaent i.e Kurt Angle (probably one of the best performer going round), jeff hardy, Mr Anderson (who i rate very highly, was wasted in wwe).... Also Joey Styles who i have only seen since tna came on channel 1, he is very very good!!! Even with those wrestlers and with some young talent they have, ut there recycling of story lines from wcw days... will never be in the same league as wwe even if they've gone PG, which is a shame... Attitude era was the best time in wrestling because thats the bottom line...

Don't you mean AJ Styles as Joey Styles was the guy who did commentary for ECW (original) and WWE.

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
Don't bother with WWE anymore, it started going down hill when The Rock and Austin finished up (was still okay), but the last few years don't rate at all.
TNA isn't fantastic, but it still has decent matches and isn't PG.
They need to get out of Florida more often and avoid overusing the veterans.
The Jay Lethal (as Flair) vs Ric Flair stand off from the recent Impact was pretty funny:
