I think Basco needs help too, the poor guy is carrying the side on his own shoulders.
We will bounce back this week dont worry about that

I went and had a look at the last half of lincoln south and waybacks. If you go in after half time you do not have to pay!
I was waiting for waybacks to run away with the game as they loooked the better side out there but to souths credit they ground out a win which surprised me.
I noticed:
The demon backline is slow
No back up for Cragg Sapsord in the ruck
Souths nothing in ruck or up forward
Dunn is a bludger
If in the AFL that hit on the kid would have got 6-8 weeks but 0 games in the PLFL

Na was just a very severe cocked thigh and damaged his groin again, will be a incredible effort if he plays this week. :ympray:

My tips in both PLFL and AFL are looking extreamly ordinary this week !

BP how did the 'great white hope' Austy Monfries go? Did he dominate as you all predicted?
I heard Martin is going to buy him a watch this week.

There was no mallice intended in the collision involving young Treager considering a) the wayback player didn't even see Treager coming in from the side and b) the wayback player took possession of the ball on impact. It was just one of those unfortunate collisions that can happen in a game of football, I wish him all the best with his recovery.

Thats not how I saw it. a) Kayser left his man of half back to hit the contest (kid and ball) b) the kid was well and truly at the ball when hit and was on his knees or vey close to it. c) no one 'came in from the side' .
I know you are only going into bat for your team mate but tell the truth son.

So Tasmans looked the best team in round 1 by far. They are certain of finals, can they make the double chance? I think so

I wonder who is telling the truth here i have just heard from a very reliable source that the young lad invovled has a cracked vertabrae in his neck, must have been some sort of impact to do that.

That is a bad injury, that blonde haired lad was playing well.
Dermie I rated it a bit like the Matthew Lloyd hit on Sewell last year. Player semi in control of ball/just gathered ball and not fully upright, was open for the hit and it stunned him. As I said the wayback played did leave his opponent from half back and did have time to pull-up or tackle. If the lad was fully upright it would have been a great shirt front but the problem was he was down a little. it's hard to explain and a case of you had to be there. AFL - Reckless with high severe contact 6- 8 weeks, PLFL - Nothing in it 0 weeks.

Kayser had the ball? That is the biggest load of cr@p I have heard on this site ( and there is a lot)

I am not doubting anyone's "great record" sherrin. I am only saying what I saw and it you want to hang me for that then thats your perogative. I went to watch a game of football with my darling wife and I saw it all from close-up on the wind-sock pocket in my car. where did you see it from? front bar of the northern?
Kayser came up with the ball because the ball spilt free and the lad was KO'd.

Rossco you have an identity and are a respected unlike sherrin. Did Kayser "have the ball" when contact was made?
Some of you young blokes need to grow up!!!

Daicos... why does everything that you post give me the impression that you think everyone else is inferior if they disagree with you.

FWIW... I didn't see the hit, but Kayser was reported by both field umpires, and speaking to one of them yesterday, they expect games.

Apparently the kid was flown to Adelaide sat night.

I know what I saw and I know I am right marble park that is why I am not impressed with these young punks that are talking rubbish. I dont care what "impression you get" either.
If you saw the hit would you say "Kayser had the ball" ? how would you describe it?

daicos theres always two sides to any story you know that, everyones going to have different opinions especially on here! So either get over yourself of get off this site. Im sure the league will give him the amount of games he deserves. Apart from this crap id like to wish young treager the best of luck in his recovery and i'm looking forward to seeing him running around again.

Was just one of those accidental things that happen in footy, but he will still more then likely get a game or two, cause thats just how it works sometimes.
And yes, D. Harders played in the magoos on the weekend for Waybacks, and has still got it
