Its good that it gives teams time to freshen blokes up, but its a game of attrition so the best squads win without a boring bye.

Agree, contributed to the Dogs winning in 2016 and could have seen Collingwood have the edge with Geelong potentially having Duncan, Cameron, Guthrie & Stanley out.
