Still rate the J. Hird one - in the 70's

So it was all looking OK at that stage however we used that no 17 pick on Darren Pfeiffer who ultimately left for the PSD
It's interesting to trace trades & drafts back through

Great mover, sensational kick

What was Fergus Watts, seriously the bloke couldn't play, he honestly thought he was far better than he really was, he thought he was hard done by with the Crows yet got drafted by St Kilda & still can't get a kick in the VFL. Another great selection by James Fantasia!

Was manhandled a bit off the ball, probably due to his lack of size and as with many teenagers who get frustrated, they stop working and presenting, which is exactly what happened ... The furstration then just grows further when your man runs off you.
I'd think NC and Co. would have watched him pretty closely yesterday and will work on that with him ... At the end of the day he had poor/slow delivery which didn't do him any favours and still could have kicked 6 goals or so, which I guess says it all when you've been comprehensively beaten by your opponent but still had chances.

Against AFL teams on grounds like the MCG, this will get out quick as lightning and teams would exploit it. After a full pre-season though, this should improve noticeably. A pleasure to watch. The natural footy smarts are there and very quick reflexes also.
