Alot of people forget how good carey was when he was at the roos. I mean he was the forward line.

alot of people do forget how good he was because of his off field actions so whilst i dont agree with what he did i think we should judge the guy on what he did on the field and what he did for the game he was the best i've seen thats for sure .

Some are shockers. John Platten has to be in there, also Bradley. Would also have Paul Kelly. Heres one for the thoughts 'Shaun Rehn'. He was the heart behind the Crows flags and was the best ruck in the League for years (When not injured).Hell of a player, many did say 94,95 he would be better than Farmer (Then the injuries set in..........)

Smith was a brilliant coach and a good player. This is for players.

Also guys this is (supposedly) of ALL time not just in our time.

The day they name the Best and Fairest after Leigh "sniper" Matthews I'll give up football and follow soccer - and I hate soccer.

Agree mate, but according to the experts he's the 2nd best player, as you stated 'of all time' a load of wank.
Lists written by tossers who have never contributed to the game appart from the above listings they concture up every year, why do the top 20-30 change from year to year, once your listed as a 'GREAT' and given a status number you should retain that holding, our olympians do???

What about Scott West?
Not on Mike's or Rucci's lists.
Has been one of the best players for the past 15 seasons.

:-s

One of the best in the last 15 years? Probably. One of the best of all time? Probably not.

But,these lists are made to be criticised and discussed, hell,if 50 of us did a list of our top 50,we would have 50 different lists.

Would Scott West even be in the Bulldogs top 10 of all time? I doubt it. Can't see how he'd be in the top 50 of all time.

I'd copy someone elses list out of laziness...

I agree, not quite top 50 all time, but certainly top 50 of his playing days.
