Terrible blow for the young fella and I hope that this doesn't prove to be the end of a promising career. Makes me even madder about Nathan Ablett who just walks away on two good legs.

I wasn't demeaning his quality as a player, but I don't think he would have made the difference against Hawthorn this year.wycbloods wrote:I think it is a massive blow for both the club (losing a AA CHB) and the player (possibly ending such a promising career).Psyber wrote:"Moderate inconvenience for cats." might be more accurate.

My point was that the Cats are well equipped to cover the loss of a good player, and it won't have a huge impact on them.
So the emphasis should be on the big loss to the player himself.
