I agree Zed with the comparisons of LFC to WOS & BFOS...And money's got little to do with it. In fact I understand that at Rutland Ave. the recruiting budget toughted earlier this year by some past players, remains untouched, a tribute to the coach and players new and old.
I'm not sure about WC or LFC or TOS or CLG or KFC OR even the Mountain Men defeating a D5 top side, I recon they could, certainlly more than competitive on their day.
The one thing I think LFC may offer still, is further growth & development as a team, due to their current age. For example I recon most players are better players at 22 than they were at 18 and of course most are far better players at 25 & 27, than they were at 22. So hopefully the Deez if they stay together, which they have done for the most part since Under 18's. And keep adding the odd recruit, could move up the ranks with this added development and growth. Allthough probably not with the succession of Back to Back results of WOS & BFOS, that we all know is a truly magnificent effort and lots of things have to go right for that to occur, on and off the field.
BUT of course we are still waiting for that first result, it can't be too far away. Thanks I was bored too
