Mate said Crystal Castle had trialled well in the wet and anything better than $1.60 is good shopping.

$2.30 fixed on TAB at the minute and I've had a huge go at it. Don't mind taking first starters from astute stables. Loks an average field too for mine.

Payne too confident. Got too far back and thought she could was under a horse that could cover 50m extra and still win. FFS.

1 point for Payne will struggle from here I reckon. Maskiell was hopeless then missed the jump and never really got into the race at all. Finished a long last
