don't know mate. He caused a few headaches in the 1st half. Good luck to any defence in div 6 with him and Osborn around the arc. Heard a whisper he was going to be put in the paddock and recover along side Atlantic Air?

Kenilworth Football Club is over the moon with the news today that junior player Seb Tape was named SA captain in the national U18's state carnival. His brother is in the senior leadership group at the club and along with the rest of the family would no doubt be proud. Well done Sebby!

pitto will appreciate your kind defence there quichey,
I guess it's better to be criticised for being too hard then too soft. there's at least 4 teams henley has played this year that would definitely come off the ground feeling like they haven't played a game against us.
so i guess the captain was trying to lead from the front in terms of attack on the footy; gave away a few free kicks in the process but the bump that got him sent off was pretty innocuous, but as the ump said as he was jogging him off, he was just trying to settle the game a little.
hardly the most unsportsmanlike display ever tho; rest assured that the berating from this bloke wasn't nearly as bad as the one pitto got from his missus for the shiners he was sporting!

Pitty is a good honest hard at the ball player, have a lot of time and respect for him in my dealings in the past, dont think he would intentially hurt a fly to be honest but is always willing to put his body on the line

you can lead from infront by being hard but fair, but a poor leaders could also become cheap and inafective prity quickly and i have seen this previously with HFC, and what i hear this was the case on weekend

just a few random thoughts on division 6 atm..i have seen a fair bit of it over the years and also the teams that have been promoted out of division 6 into division 5..my personal thoughts are that the best teams in division 6 right now are not as good as the teams that have gone before them..all respect to LFC WCFC TOS KFC CLGFC but i believe it to be true..lets look at who has gone before in the last 3 years and where they are now..

2007 Blackfriars (5) Golden Grove (4) - blacks played finals both years in div 5, groves went straight through to div 4
2008 Westminster (4) Hope Valley (5) - valleys have been good in div 5, Westies went straight through to div 4
2009 Hectorville (5) Braham Lodge (5) - they sit at #1 and #2 on the ladder and both could go through to div 4

do you think the current teams of LFC WCFC KFC CLGFC and TOS are up to those teams? going straight into finals and GF's in division 5 and getting promoted?

personally i thought the golden grove div 5 team was one of the best in that division i have ever seen..

just an opinion..dont shoot me :)

you can only beat what the competition puts in front of you but i think this years better div 6 teams are weaker than previous years..and it doesnt really mean much..im just a bit bored :)

dont hate..just debate

Money would be a major factor in keeping these teams together though!! Not every club as a endless bank account ( like brama lodge for example) to pay players and recruit players from other higher clubs!! Div 5 and div 6 aren't that much different either in the quality of football i feel. I don't think we can make such assumptions until we see the two teams go into div 5 next year and then we can judge this years competition.

div 5 and div 6 are very different in skill level, WCFC or LFC of today would not beat Plympton for example..and ive seen enough to say that..moneys got little to do with it, WOS BOS dont pay a cent..i happen to know there is plenty of $$ floating around in the top 5 in division 6 still..have you seen any div 5 football lately? i can make my assumption because i have seen 1st 2nd and 3rd in div 6 and they are not as good NOW as the 6 promoted teams of the last 3 years..thats just my opinion..its not right or wrong..

Probably gunna disagree there Zed, happen to think at least 2 teams in div 6 now would be in the top 5 in div 5. Personally didnt think Hectorville were in the top 3 best teams last year when you look at teams when they were full strength. But they played great footy in the finals and now have set there season up in div 5. Well done to them. Again same as Zed this is just my opinion.
