Round 10 - C District v South @ Elizabeth Sat 29 May 2.10pm

Postby GWW » Sun May 23, 2010 8:57 pm

With Central District appearing to be heading towards peak form and Ron Fuller's Panthers struggling at the moment, this match at Elizabeth could be quite one sided.

I think the Bulldogs will win by about 12 goals.

We don't fare too badly at Elizabeth when we're predicted to be pumped by 30 goals. In saying that I can't see us getting within about five goals. :(

Dogs by how much?

I wrote in another thread the only thing that may stop the Dogs is motivation and complacancy. Might be a good chance to bring Boyd in as he would be pretty pumped to have a big one against his old club.

I'd love to see Boyd play ;) Although in reality there are rarely any 'fireworks' when a player comes up against his old club for the first time, regardless of the reasons for departure. Probably the player to cop the most from South fans over the fence was Archard. Fair enough too...

Hard to see South winning this unless things improve rapidly on yesterday's showing. Have not won at the ground 90s

nup, Boyd not ready yet. Also, noticed a bit of a "rock star" attitude about Him on Saturday, hope this is just his persona & He doesn't take it onto The Oval.

And, going on current form & the way The 'Dogs are starting to play, I expect Us to click & win by plenty, at least 10 goals.

 Sounds like Boydy. Knows how to win the footy though. Just lets himself down with disposal.

If he starts to be a bit of a lair, The Twins will sort Him out. If they can reduce The Rhino to tears, Boyd had best be ready to walk the walk, if he's going to talk the talk.

Doesn't seem to be endearing himself to the supporter base......I'm with you two on this one.........

Geez, I'm not the fashion police. Couldn't care less. I've heard him interviewed, a number of times, and seems very keen and quite humble to the former (sladey) and more experienced players. He's itching to play and I look forward to his debut.

I'm with you sjt. From what i could see on saturday after half time was a guy who has plenty of ability and some good skills, he should play this week if Symesy goes to the crows or replace L.Westhoff.
I couldnt care less how Boyd looks or walks as long as he contributes on the field.(but he was sporting some very nice sunglasses). ;)
I know some people in the club and they say that he is a great bloke to have a chat to and even a guy i was standing with on saturday walked up to him and had a decent chat with him. From what i have heard he is not a bad bloke.

Do you mean he'll only play ressies all year or wont last on the list Bayman ?

I wouldn't be surprised if Roy gives him a couple of more weeks in the reserves and NOT bring him into the league side just because they are playing his old club.

I would be surprised if L.Westoff was to be dropped, has won the coaches award a few times this season at the after match presentations.
