Stop over reacting. % wont come into it unless there is a draw. Just be glad the player is ok. This is the beauty of footy that it can throw up un predictable results. As the game was called off before half time, Cally are fully entitled to that point and I can't even beleive people are suggesting that it should be taken away. Show some respect.

maybe cally should have some respect for themselves and bail.
what is gonna stop a player from now laying on the ground for half an hour with his eyes closed so that they can guarantee 1 point??
the rules are there for a reason so maccy are unlucky. hopefully they can pull that extra win from somewhere. but now this has happened something could be changed in the rule book. or at least looked at.
from what i hear, big o handled the situation very poorly. so that is why i will not cut him a break.
the player was discharged from hospital that night. and now that we know (and are very glad) he is fine. (might even play this week) it's the business end that must be discussed.

Glad the lad was alright (Cally V Maccy) but was dissapointed in Sunday Mail's reporting of the incident that would have left readers thinking that it was a 'king hit' that felled the player.

I am flabbergasted by the suggestion that the Cally player in question might even play this week. WTF!!!??? Hopefully this isn't true. If it is, anyone who allows this to happen shouldn't be involved at any level in country footy.

Yeah cheers Crumber and Aceman for those comments. If this player takes the field tomorrow, anyone who enables it is totally incompetent and should be removed from whatever post they hold.

Seriously mate you watch too many movies. I think a paramedic will know whether a bloke is full of **** when diagnosing the situation and i'd be comfortable in saying any club in Australia would not go to that extent just to gain 1 point, especially when the team has the guts to front up the next week after getting destroyed by 85-90 goals. I can understand your frustration with the leagues conclusion but c'mon what a stupid potential future scenario. Footballers have enough trouble concentrating for 10-15 minutes so how'd they go playing sleeping logs for 1 straight hour?

Strange story this one. No one within the club seems to know what is going on. Concerning if true but id like to know where the station got its facts from.

Kangys over Cally. 39.22 to 2.4. We missed the entire first half, but hopefully all players who took the field are still alive and well.

Tha bloke was arrested with a heap of cash on him and when asked by the cops to explain why he was carrying so much cash he told them he played footy for Gum for $650 a week and Gum had just paid him for the last few weeks.....

this is true but it took almost half an hour for the paramedics to get there. by which time i think the game had already technically been called off. never say never.

that guy used to play underage footy for central districts and was a gun. when he didn't get drafted he fell to bits, falling deeper into the wrong crowd.
