Well done lads, have a good weekend.

I'm putting a chunk of the winnings on the Cats tonight.

Plus, a bit on Sir Time Keeper in tomorrow's Doomben Cup.

The response from CP's contact. Seems like a genuine attempt to make things better

Thank you for taking the time to send in your query. I would firstly like to apologise for the poor level of service you have received. Sportsbet prides itself on responding to any and all correspondence sent in by members in a timely fashion, However, in this case, it is clear that this service has not been provided. I hope that in writing this email to you I can reaffirm to you that Sportsbet takes any and all correspondence sent in by both members and non members with the utmost attention and consideration.

It is blatantly obvious that in order for members to be able to view any bet market and successfully place a bet requires time and consideration. In the case of markets not being updated until just minutes before a race is unacceptable. I have contacted our Customer Service Supervisor and informed them of this oversight and I would like to offer my contact details for future reference as I am always willing and able to have a chat and help to the best of my abilities. You can reach me directly at *edit* or you may call me directly on *edit*

I have sent across a copy of this email to our head of Trading Floor staff to highlight the obvious need for markets to be posted for members in a more convenient and timely fashion. Although I regret you having to send in feedback that is far from flattering, I appreciate you taking the time to send it in as this provides Sportsbet with an opportunity to provide a quality, enjoyable betting product that is available for all of our members and make improvements where needed.

I hope you don’t mind but I have gone ahead and credited your account with a $20 free bet in the hopes you will find the back of a winner. Please do not view this as some small token to purchase your happiness, but rather a sign of my willingness to take ownership of this email and address the appropriate parties concerned so that this unacceptable oversight cannot happen again.

I will be following this issue up on Monday with the parties concerned and hope you don’t mind if I contact you at some point early next week with some answers.

I wish you the best of luck with your free bet Andy and I look forward to speaking with you further next week regarding this matter.

Have a great weekend and I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Good day gents, drove back from Qld today and saw Scriven was the tip on my phone, being one of my favs I had a bit on :D

Sounds like Sportsbet stuffed up and are addressing it, but at last count there are at least 8 bookies that offer JC's why wouldnt you punt with them? As proven on here time and time again different bookies have massively different odds and making a profit on these markets over time can simply come down to getting the best price around. Dont put your eggs all in one basket.

SAFooty.net is aprtnering with some new bookies as I speak, will have details soon. By opening a new account thru our links it will help keep this site alive.

Had a good look this morning at Seymour, I think Nolen will be short. Zahra and Currie could be a little bit of value. Symons has had at least one of his rides scratched.

Rodd going to Seymour today for one ride on a first starter in the first race. Might be worth keeping an eye on.
